Kentish Lifelong Learning & Care

NT Sports and Playground Surfacing were successfully contracted to complete a full upgrade to all outdoor areas as well as the supply and install of all new specified play equipment.

For the first area the site was fully excavated back to natural ground. Once excavation was completed NTSPS installed new drainage, irrigation, garden kerbing and concrete paths. Rosehill TPV Rubber and stone set were also installed throughout.

Second area the site was once again excavated back to natural ground and new drainage, plumbing and water tank for recycled water system for water play area was installed. A bespoke timber cubby house was constructed with ruff saw cuts from logs. Rosehill TPV Rubber was installed under existing swing area and a new seat was installed to comply with Australian Standards. All areas were finished off with native plants.

The outcome has seen a vast improvement to these areas and the play value to engage children has been widely beneficial.

On the completion of both areas, a post installation playground inspection and impact attenuation surface testing were completed to ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
