Another remote site, about 300km north east of Alice Springs, one looks at the map and thinks that it looks like a great road, the truth is that alot of these roads are in need of some TLC.  On this trip we lost as few things, well namely, the roof cage.
One can keep checking to make sure that everything on the 4WD’s is secure but it only takes a couple of seconds, one bolt to come slightly loose and wham, there goes the cage with spares tyres. Out there it’s all about bush mechanics, cant just stop around at repco or the local hardware shop to grab what you need. It’s all about being prepared and using abit of ingenuity. Onwards we went, job done.
